Had another grand time with the aurum kids at Xavier Estates last Saturday. Taught them how to make little dolls out of craft wire (skeleton), wood bead (head), different colors of yarn and straw (wrapped around the wire), sequins, cloth and small beads (for the dress).
Even the titas and moms said it was addicting to make. Although it was challenging to wrap the colored string especially at the tip of their hands and feet, they really enjoyed making them. We also assisted them in handling the craft wires.
At the end of the workshop, all the kids were happy to have made their own dolls.
